I grew up in Northern Illinois, but Texas has been home for 30 years. I’ve lived in the Helotes area for nearly two decades, and honestly, being right on the edge of the Hill Country never gets old.

My career started in graphic design, where I learned pretty quickly that the details are everything. That’s what eventually led me to bookkeeping. It turns out the same mindset that makes a great designer makes a great bookkeeper. I founded Blue Ember Ledgers because small business owners deserve the same financial clarity that big companies get from entire departments, without having to hire an entire department.
